Exploring Bangladesh

Our journey into Virtual Reality

In November 2019, Just Peoples co-founders Christey and Jo received a travel grant from the Asia New Zealand Foundation to visit their Bangladeshi projects in action. Keen to take Just Peoples supporters with them so they could feel the true impact of their support, Christey and Jo embarked on a journey to see if the use of budget virtual reality technology could help them to share the incredible experiences they encountered. Through $5 cardboard VR headsets, supporters had the opportunity to visit the largest slum in Dhaka, a refugee camp in Southern Bangladesh and a workshop at an urban school.
